Gillian (part 1)

My snippets of unfinished fiction to come will be finished on the proviso of how many likes the smaller unfinished piece got; the more likes, the more likely I will create a larger story out of it.
Here is the first piece.
Curly red hair vined itself around Gillian’s shoulders as she was stirring the sugar into her coffee, reflecting on what her sister had just said before she left her there in the café alone.
How could her sister do such a thing? How could her sister sell herself so cheap? How could she do this to the rest of the feminine world?
Slowly Gillian cupped her coffee into her hands and tried to calm down. Deep breaths she thought, in and out, slowly does it Gill.
Then she thought about what if she was to do the same thing? No! The thought was too unbearable; she could never do such a thing! Or could she? Simpering she began to feel slightly amused at how anyone could take themselves so seriously in such a situation, soon her simper turned into a huge booming laugh – quickly she cupped her mouth and looked bashfully around at startled people frowning at her, the crazy redhead in the coffee pot café in the center of morning street, Warwickshire. She tried to ignore them but her nerve left her and she decided to leave them to their assumptions, she exited the café quickly and stomped over to the park and plopped herself onto a bench.
Crazy thing, she thought. The things my sister does to get attention! Well she certainly got it today! Crossing her legs she was surprised that a thirty something man sat down next to her, quite close, in fact too close for her liking. He leaned over to Gillian.
“Fancy a fag”? He asked, offering her a silk cut.
“No I don’t smoke” she retorted.
“Yep, better that way, that”. He said, looking a little uncomfortable. “yeah, I know it’s corny, but do you come ere often”?
Gillian felt like getting up and walking away from the stranger, but she found him oddly compelling.
